A horse's stomach only makes up 10% of the entire digestive system. Although this is relatively small considering the size of the animal, the digestive system is very sensitive. Poor gastrointestinal health can reduce the animal's health and performance. It is therefore important to support the gastrointestinal tract as optimally as possible.

EquiElite GC is a carefully composed mix of ingredients such as lithohamn, yeast, pectin, plant extracts and crude fatty acids obtained by splitting. EquiElite GC is packed in a 2.4 kg jar. It is suitable for horses, (small) ponies and foals.

The recommended dosage is:
Adult horses and ponies: 40 grams, twice daily (morning and evening).
Foals and small ponies: 40 grams, once daily.

How equielite GC Works
The stomach of a horse is divided into an upper and lower part. Even when the stomach is empty, it will continuously produce stomach acid. If the acid-base balance in the stomach is disturbed, the upward moving acid can attack the stomach wall. This can cause stomach ulcers. The active ingredients in EquiElite GC e contribute to a good acid-base balance in the stomach.

The added pectin changes into a gel-like structure when it comes into contact with stomach acid. This gel-like structure supports the mucous membrane of the stomach. The mucous membrane can thus continue to fulfil its normal function, which means that both good digestion and the balance between beneficial and unfavourable bacteria are maintained. An imbalance in the gastrointestinal flora can lead to digestive disorders. The horse can then give the following signals:

- Irritable;
- Listless;
- No desire to work;
- Protest during exertion.

EquiElite GC contains yeast known for its positive influence on the balance of the gastrointestinal flora. In addition, the added chamomile has the ability to control gas formation and stomach cramps.
